I’m looking for step by step install instructions for a driver’s side window that has come out of its track. I have the Ford car shop manuals from 71 but the guidance is not very specific. Any help would be appreciated.

Clean all the old glue/adhesive out of the track. If you don’t you won’t get the glass seated all the way back in level. I used a 3m glass silicone. I just did this last year replacing a broken glass. The worst issue I ran into was getting it properly aligned. My car arrived with a broken glass so I had to clean out broken glass in the track also. Hopefully yours came out clean as it will be much easier. Be careful of the glass, I had to take a 500 mile trip to pick it up as I didn’t trust shipping it as I only found 7 in the country at that time
