Hey folks, I have a 67 I recently acquired and I am looking for info on ordering a fuel gauge sending unit. I've already diagnosed the problem as a faulty sender but I don't know if the car has, or ever had, a low fuel warning light. Is this an obvious thing anywhere on the car? Would the light come on with the key on, ignition off, as on new cars? The gauge is currently reading full empty due to the failed sender-again, if it had the light, should it be coming on? VIN is 7Y81Z164359 but I cannot find any decoding info online that will tell me that info. Mac's does not have that info either, which is where I'm ordering the sender from. Thanks, Ted.
