Just inherited a 65. First carbureted car I've ever owned or worked on. Can anyone help me out / give some advice on common issues and fixes? Thanks!

Common issue is they sit too long. A battery tender and some stabil in the gas will go a long way to making you happy.

Boat gas with no ethanol , and for long term storage use air plane fuel itt lasts along time

You need the Shop Manual for the year of the car, This will educate you how the car works ! A MUST !
