Hello group,
Had the Bird on the road now for over 5000 miles and began to add some additional gauge cluster to augment the original non marked Gauges.
I bought Equus Mini 1.5 inch Mini Gauge set.
I mounted the new mechanical water temp sensor in the original port behind the distributor and relocated the original sensor (new SMP TS-17) to measure the radiator Temp.
The Oil pressure sending unit (new SMP-PS60) was a bit more challenging I put a Tee with branches (1/4 pipe thread) for both the original sensor and the fitting for the new gauge.

Question - Need to add a tachometer - how do I wire it to the Distributor - recommendations?

one side of the gauge goes to the distributor side of coil and the other to a hot wire.
