I need to remove the Quarter panel upper trim on my 1963. I'm guessing the quarter windows will have to come out to access the retaining nuts?

If you are talking about the peak molding no you have a nut on rear 1/4 panel at rear the small molding and in the front on mine it is just clipped but the clips are tough to get off
