Hope you can help me. The oilpan of my 1963 Bird is dented and leaks. I donˋt want to spend too much money, since I have to pay horrendace tax and shipping to get it to Germany. Anyways, I found several on ebay around 40 $ for the C6 transmission. Are there differences between the model years or can I just order one for the C6? Thanks to you!

Please include the model year in the subject of your future posts. I added it to this post. Thanks.

Hi should be a cruise o matic for sure. I've just had to change my transmission in my 62 but initially I brought the gasket and filter for the 62 and it turned out to be a 63 which has a slightly different shape sump and filter. If you check the web for cruise o matics you can see images of the pan shape. I've a 63 spare transmission with a decent sump but cracked bell housing and tail housing which I could break for parts if your having trouble. (I'm in the UK)
