1963 monaco thunderbird carpet color.

Does anyone know what the actual color of the carpet was in the 1963 Principality of Monaco Tbird, and who is a good source for new carpet? Thanks!

I looked at wm wonders book thunderbird restoration guide. states that the monaco carpet is rose beige, not black. the "perfect " car volo auto museum was selling had the wrong color carpet in it. also: all white deluxe steering wheel, interior had rose beige trim ,carpet, and kick panels. rosewood finish appliques on dash door panels, console and seatbacks. Corinthian white body color with rose beige vinyl top. stainless steel wheel covers with deluxe knock off spinners, rear fender skirts. see wm wonder book page 112

I need to order that book! I have alot of work to do.I want to keep the car mostly original, but we are changing the exterior color to red, and the roof will be painted white. I'll put the landau bars away and put the tbird/hardtop emblem on. The idea is, if a future owner wants to put the car back to exact original condition, they will need to repaint the exterior and add a vinyl roof to it, plus the landau bars. I even plan to leave the engine bay and trunk white.
