I am looking for advice of where to position my 3 Ton floor Jack to change the wheels and tires on my 1962 TBird. Thank you

Under the front, you can use the flat plate area where the front subframe joints the body or on the round cross-member. On the rear, I use where the spring hangers mount (cannot picture this in my head whilst typing!) or under the diff, if you can get the clearance to remove the wheels (depends on tyre/wheel size).

Thank you so much. I am putting on 15x7 on the front and 15x8 in the back. American Racing wheels. I’ll try to post a photo after we are done. Picking them up from the tire store today. I like the sporty look vs the original classic look. Thank you for your time.

be interested if the fender skirts fit with 8", what tyres are you going for?

Here come the photos. I took the pins out for the fender skirts. I’m going to keep them stored away. I prefer the look without them. Tires are 80,000 miles purchased through Les Schwab Tire Stores. Manama Tires called Reputation. I didn’t try the skirts on after but I’ll try to hold them up to it To see if there is a run.

I placed the fenderskirt up to its position and I couldn’t get the tip of my pinkie finger in between. I’d estimate the clearance at about 1/4” maybe not enough to use them on the 15x8” tire and rim.
