Hello all! Trying to decode the data plate on my 1959 Thunderbird. I have included a picture. The serial number tells me it's a 1959 with a 352 V8. The assembly plant doesn't come up or the body type. Thank you for your help. One decoder is telling me it is an Edsel Ranger but the data plate says Thunderbird on it. I also have an Edsel.1000006977.jpg

I’m sorry but the only data I can help you with is the trim 1Y, that is black leather interior.

went through this recently for a replacement data plate. it is a bit confusing. My 59 white convertable is H9YJ109284.and makes sense for my car. body type is 76A, E is color, 8X, black and white Int, date is 28M and trans is 4- 1
My red and white 59 hardtop is 63A z color 9x trim
My 60 hardtop is 63A ,V color and 76 trim

maybe this helps sort it out, good luck
