I recently purchased a carbureted '56 from an estate sale. I believe the Holley carburetor on it is off a '57 and there were other changes made. A friend of the owner just told me that he thought the car originally had a supercharger. How do I determine if my car is an "F" code?

Nice car. And thanks, guys. No need to respond any more. I deciphered the data plate and my car is not an 'F" code. Either that friend didn't know what he was talking about or somebody other than the factory added and then removed the supercharger.

He did know what he was talking about, The Data plate would have it listed as a F code
