I wanted to see if anybody had an easier way of pulling out the tachometer to replace the needle? As it is, I can't get a tool or my hands into the area needed to remove it. Putting it back together would be even more of a pain. There has to be a better way than this. Removing tach cable and the 2 nuts holding the bracket in. Are there pieces that can be removed for easier access? Lying on my back trying to get to these is a major pia.

The tachometer can only be removed from the front of the dash after disconnecting the cable and the two nuts. If you remove the headlight switch you might be able to gain a little more access.
