After driving my car for 45min. I turn it off then I could not start it up again until I moved the shifter a couple of times, and finally it started up. Is this a transmission issue? Any info will help. I moved it around within the neutral position then it finally started.

There's a neutral safety switch above the transmission that won't allow the car to start unless it's adjusted properly to ensure the car is in neutral. A little difficult to get to, but not horribly.

sounds like the neutral safety switch is worn or out of adjustment

What’s the best way to get to it ? And how do I adjust it?
