Yellow to Blue

This is reason for the post on hoping the
02 car might not get built.

Have seen several Yellow premiums and just
don't like the car. Has anyone managed to
change their color this late in the game.
If it looks like all the 02 will get built
will go to Blue. If not will see if can
get on the 03 list. It's the interior, just
to much Yellow.

I would be real surprised if you can't change the color at this point.

Good thing there are choices, the very things you dislike is exactly why I love my yellow premium. Perfect amount of yellow in the interior (for me).

The yellow one with the white top and the wide whitewall tires- to die for!

Hope it works for you, be a shame to have one of these and not love it.

If you want to stay with the yellow body color, you can change your interior to a partial accent yellow interior or to an all "black" interior.

The partial yellow interior only has yellow on the seat inserts, the top of the steering wheel and the gear shift knob.

You have 2 choices if you go for an all "black" interior - it's either the "standard" black or the accent black.

If you want the blue exterior, you may also want only the partial blue interior if the full accent yellow interior bothered you on the yellow cars. The blue is also available with the black interiors.

When mother ordered the car it seems the
photos we saw were of the seat inserts, and steering wheel. The first actual car saw was
during the San Antonio car show. It was on
a turntable with only one door part opened,
but she still went wow that's yellow. Since
than we have seen 4 more, with the tops up
and down. Today she thought a blue one
past her but due to the traffic wasn't sure.
If it was a T-Bird she really liked
that Blue.

My wife and I hoped we did not make a mistake when we ordered the yellow/yellow premium with full accent. When we received the car we were a little taken back by all the yellow. But it only took a day or two of showing and driving the car and it did not seem like there was as much yellow in the interior as there was the first day. I would not change the full accent yellow one bit now. Simply put - we love it.

Wow COOL interior. Is that custom?

I love the yellow interior, IMHO, they did a wonderful job of matching colors on different types of materials.

Different strokes for different folks.

We changed from black to red. We forgot to change the color of the top, and the dealer forgot to ask us if we wanted the color of the top changed also. The car was built red with a black top. Only by a stroke of luck did I think of this at the last minute and they were able to change it at the factory. I doubt that they would make a blue car with a yellow top, but suggest you look into it.--Slyfoxxmi
