I got my VIN last week, and have read on several posts about an 800 line to check on status. Please advise the full 800 number, and any instructions I need to follow to ascertain progress of my '02 assembly. Thank you!

The number is 800-962-3746

You need a 5 digit dealer code, no alpha characters, then you need the order number the dealer assigned to your car,

The body type is P60...and you have to say "P" very distictly...most of the time it will think you said "T".

Good luck.

jodrod,
I guess so, but not certain what "build date" means. I just called the 800 #, gave them my dealer & order numbers, plus P60, and the "canned" voice told me the 4/15 date.

The build date means production will start during "the week of ----" Betty's VIN is 115662 and (according to my salesperson) it is scheduled for the week of 4/8. Notice all production dates are Mondays?
