for delivering an icon that is fun to drive and continues to turn heads and catch attention. In addition, (and in the scope of things) an item, very limited in numbers and editions, that will insure a perpetual presence for those that enjoy "art on wheels" well into the future.

Side note: this should go down as a happy day, as a testament of our investment forsight, and a rebuke for those of us recommended for a stay at the Henry Ford Institute for Caraholics.....by our loved ones!

I'll add my thanks to this list. I paid a lot more for "Kandi" than I could have if I had waited, but I would have missed 10K miles of driving fun. I still stop at a local (Crystal River, Florida) classic car meeting and park next to a '55 or '56 and have a great time. The most fun is still getting behind the wheel and doing what she's made for.... driving!

I couldn't be happier with my 02 bird. Everyone comments when I drive her, and the stares she gets just make me grin. I'm so glad I didn't wait for the price to come down - I would have missed a lot of fun.

I agree with all of you . I love my 2002 Thunderbird and am glad I was one of the first kids on the block to have one. When someone asks about the price, I shut them up by saying I would have been just as happy if I paid double.

10 years and 50,000 miles later........

Crusin' around, top down, listening to the Beach Boys' on the CD, still take us back to a special moment in time.... lots of oooh's and aah's to go with it! Best classic car investment I ever made...

My Thundy continues to draw eyes. I even used it in our small home town parade to escort the prom queen down main street last year.
