Wouldn't this concept be a nice 2005, 50th anniversary, surprise.

... and this.

That sure would be nice, if they do, are you gonna get one?
I've already been asked to leave one home this year.... 😀

Quickdraw,
I hope your right because if it happens I will be one of the first ones to place an order. As you know I looked into the Saleen but was turned off by the qualified to sell them local dealer and then talked to Saleen's east coast manager and I would be the first to own one on this coast. It was to scary for me to be the first to own a speciality car. Just call me mister chicken but I rather buy from Ford.

I too attempted to find out information on a supercharged Bird.Ah but no real luck. Saleen told me to deal with a specific local dealer. Did not want that. Sure hope 2005 Bird Is an old 62 Ford Color Castillian Gold w/ gold leather and black top. Of course this should have a supercharger too!!! I will also order another to go with my 2003.
WOW-- wife thinks I am just plain nuts, but she said " which color do I get?"
Keep us posted forum members on any information you get.
Thanks
Dennis

My understanding is that as of right now there will NOT be a supercharged version made by Ford...The reason is that they "don't want to compete with the corvette".

And what is wrong with competing with the vets? 😀
Would take a lot to make me part with my 2002 blue bird, but
wow.....that is pretty! Got me excited all over again about a new car! Doubt it will happen tho...and hope it does not...would hate for Ford to do something drastic like that to those of us that own a 2002 and paid top dollar for them! Yes I am guilty! (Just had to have one!)

Thanks for the pics Harry!
