This is an old thread but thought it was worth bringing to the surface again for new members and/or those who may plan on doing their own repairs. Especially since our Birds are getting older. I believe that manuals mentioned in post #1 are Helm manuals. Helm is a company that prints most of the
shop manuals for auto companies.
Steve is correct, they are expensive:
A site that shows acxtual costs for the 2002 Tbird books:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?LH_...teid=0&campid=5338236430&toolid=20008&mkevt=1
However, you can probably find them less expensive
on ebay. There are Helm manuals for the 02 thru 05s
on ebay, though they probably won't be listed as a Helm manual. Just
search for 2002 thunderbird manual.
There are a lot of the electrical manuals and several sets of the
shop manuals ranging in price from $50 to $100 for the set. The 2002
shop manual is a 2 book set. Whereas the '03-05s is one book.
Just passing on info
🙂
Edit: Here's a site, I plugged in 2002 TBird, and there's a whole list of items available. Even special ones for Canadian Birds:
