How do I remove windwing glass from a 56 in order to replace it. I thought about just busting it out, but that seems extreme.

I just did this on my ‘57. Pretty easy too. Just secure or clamp down the glass on a horizontal surface, like a wood workbench. Then use a small block of wood and soft hammer to tap the frame away from the glass a little at a time. There’s also a great YouTube video on this.
