My Bird has 174 miles and is in heated storage. When and if it ever stops snowing up here should I change the oil before summer operation?

I assume that if a change is in order, the filter can remain.

Chief, I change oil and filter when a new vehicle has 1000 miles then I change oil and filter every 3000 miles. In all my years of driving, I have never had an engine problem.

Chief, I have done the same as Leon and never had any problems. As far as it sitting in the garage for a peroid of time I don't see any problem with that eather unless you let it set for a year or more. Never did that with a new car but my 69 Vette only gets around 400 to 500 miles put on it a year so I change the oil in that once a year.
