This is not one of the original "let the stories begin", but thought you would be interested in this warm and fuzzy story.
While in my dealership today, shopping for another vehicle, the sales person told me that the one couple that ordered their bird through her had picked it up. And what is strange and beautiful about this is.
1. Its a 50th anniversery gift- 2 years early.
2. The husband is quite sick.
3. The owner of the store called Ford and asked if they could put a rush on the order because the gentleman was medically loosing ground quickly.
4. The car did come one car before it was scheduled for, and 'they' picked it up took it home and added it to their stable of Edsels.
5. And finally the communication between my dealership and Ford Worked! Big bussiness has a huge heart and I was proud to be able to be privey to this information.
