Greetings, all. This is my first post to this page. I just bought a '60 T-bird Convertible that is 2/3 restored and need a couple of questions answered. The owner, who passed several months ago, put am enormous amount of professional work and money into the project. He paid $7,000 for the re-chroming alone. When complete, it will be a world-class car. Anyway, I need to know what the steel, vinyl-covered header is called that acts as a filler between and above the rear seats. I would like to buy a replacement (original or repop). The one that came with the car is compromised at either end. I will post some photos in the near future.
