Currently running about 22 MPG. Always with Premium!

And that's mostly normal driving, not open road? Impressive. I thought the EPA #'s were way low. I bet you get aboutr 25+ on the road. Our Mark 8 gets almost 20 around town with my foot out of it and closer to 28 on a trip.

Just completed a 1700 mile trip and averaged over 25 MPG. This was about 90% highway driving and used only Shell 93 Octane.

Gas Mileage

I have used the "reg" grade gas almost always. Never heard or saw any differences. Am convinced top performance and speed might suffer, but I almost never get over 90 mph and never squeek a tire. Got 30,000+ on it and drive it regularly. It still requires conversations at the pump and shows no wear and tear yet. Mileages approx 22mpg.
