Amadeus and I start our drive tomorrow morning to return to his birthplace, and I'll be taking the Wixom plant tour on Friday morning at 9, to be followed by visiting the Henry Ford Museum. From there, we zip over to Indianapolis to see the NCAA Hall of Fame. Really looking forward to the odyssey. Any of y'all along the way, thru NC to Knoxville, north to Lexington and Cincy, thru Toledo can come to the interstate and wave!

HeelBird,

If you plan to go I-40 west of Winston, I recommend taking 64 west out of Raleigh and 421 to Greensboro. I found out on my trip to Boone last week that I-40 between Raleigh and Greensboro can be a miserable drive. We came back 421 and 64. Very pleasant, little traffic and great road, but it's 55 most of the way. Have a great trip!
