Hi
My car alarm goes off on my 2004 without reason or warning, sporadically when I unlock it.
Does not matter how I lock it, when I unlock it, sometimes it goes off and I don't know why. I have tried locking and unlocking in every combination I can think of but cannot find the pattern or issue. Anyone else having alarm problems?

Hi Angie and WELCOME!!

Not sure if this helps but here goes; Our TBirds get weird when the battery gets old & weak and all sorts of different things happen. One of which is the alarm going off for no reason.

Not sure how old your battery is so I think you have two choices:
1) Disconnect your battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnect it. See if it goes back to being normal again. You will have to re-do your radio settings so save them on paper before you disconnect.
2) Replace the battery. Generally about $110. at a Ford dealer. Note it is a vented battery so going through Ford is a safe bet.

Keep us informed please.
