Hello all

I am in the process of installing an XM radio kit in my 2005 Bird. I know that people have installed the antenna on the inside of the trunk lid. Anyway, I would appreciate some information:

1. How did you remove the trunk liner. Mine is held with plastic holders that will not pull out when I pull on the liner? Does it take a special tool?

2. How did you route the wire from the trunk up to the radio?

3. Once you get the liner off, how did you mount the antenna in the trunk lid? My antenna is magnetic and usually attaches to metal.

Thanks

I have XM with the very small antenna lying on corner of the dashboard passenger side no problems
Why do you want to ruin the trunk of the T-Bird

I pulled the vents out above the radio out and placed the magnet mount antenna right on top of the radio. Very few drop outs and completely hidden.
