Friends, my electric skills are limited, so some help is needed. :-/

As an additional 6 volt 20A electric fan for cooling I bought this one:
http://www.limora.com/de/elektroluefter-1-153129.html

and it works great when I test it with a simple on/off switch directly connected with a 20A inline fuse
to my 6 Volt battery.
(changing polarity is no problem for the fan so it blows to the correct direction)

But I would like to install a relay for safety and I am not able to get it work.
I bought this one: http://www.oldtimerbedarf.de/6-Volt-Arbeitsrelais-20A-Schliesser

It is specially made for additional things like lights or electric fans on 6 Volt car systems.

There are no "positive ground/earth" or "negative ground/earth"- named relays on the market, so,
I don't have to care about this?

I don't get it... I followed relay install instructions found on the internet but it does not
work.

There are schematic drawings on the internet how to
connect relays but they don't show the real world...
I'd need a complete drawing which shows me how to connect each wire to all of them:

the fan (got 2 wires),
the switch (a simple on/off switch),
the relay (a simple on/off relay with 4 pins : 30 & 87 / 85 & 86)
and the cars' battery (+/-)

including how to do this on my positive grounded/earthed 6 Volt '55 T-Bird.

As I said, my skills are limited but I want to learn! I'd appreciate a self made drawing
which shows all elements mentioned/needed THANKS THANKS THANKS !

I don’t read or speak German, so not much help on the references.

How did the installation go? Can you post pictures? Did it help in traffic? I’ve installed a new improved radiator, new large opening thermostat, new high volume pump which all helped but in stop and go traffic on a hot day she stills heats up to the end of the white bar on the temperature gauge. The normal driving range even on a 95° day is near the “M” about 60%-70% where it used to go all the way up.
Thanks
