Thunderbird Year

Hi everyone. I am building a 1978 T-Bird and am putting in a 1978 Mark-V 460ci engine. Has anyone done this before and can tell me what headers they used? I would like to put in rack and pinion steering in it. Any suggestions on who makes one for it? Thanks, Dave.

The 429-460 Engine was available in the 1972-76 Torino run which the 77-79 Thunderbird is based off of! So the headers for the Torino should fit from the usual parts companies. As far as a rack and pinion from suspension I have no clue what would be available! Good Luck with your project!
