I have a GPS tracking system for my Bird set up with myTraxx:

MyTraxx Inc.
7320 East Burtherus Drive
Suite #206
Scottsdale, AZ 85260

they have 2 websites: www.getmytraxx.com (which has never worked)
and www.trackmycars.com (where you login to check on your vehicle etc.) The page exists but I havent been able to log on ever, and it has been over 3 weeks, plus they never return my support calls. (if they answered in the first place)
I am about to call my Dealer and have them drop these people, uninstall the unit and return my money.

Has anyone else ever heard of this company or deal with them and how was it?

Any recommendations for other tracking unit and service providers? Preferably ones that can give notifications and accept commands (like to kill the starter if it was stolen, unlock doors if you lock them inside, etc)

I have found 2 possibilities but dont have more much info other than what I gleamed from their websites:
http://www.powerloc.com/prod_vld.htm

and
http://www.selfdefence.com/pagetrack2.htm

Anyone heard of or used the 2 above?

TexasTBird,

I don't think I have you listed in the database, please see my thread "Database Info for the New Birds - post here Update 1", thanks.

All I can tell you is I work for electrical contractor, and we have GPS on our trucks. It is "At Road.com". There are a few glitches at times, but we have 50 trucks, and usually works great.
