Front License Plate Holder

In Palm Springs area of Ca., approx. 1 in 5 cars don't have front plate. I talked to local sherriff and he said they don't stop for that reason only(but they could) however, if you get stopped for any other reason, you would get fix-it for plate. Didn't know cost for ticket.
