front license plate holder

Have searched the subject on the web site, but didn't find much. Has anyone come up with a way to attach the front plate without it looking so bad?

I am working with a friend on an electric plate holder that will raise and lower (hide ) the plate. When approached by man or woman of law just hit the switch and the plate appears. Once completed and Patented, I'll let you all know.

the best I've seen on the ones attached is one painted to match body color - makes it blend in better.
