UPDATE EMAIL ADDRESS
When Ford changed from account numbers with letters and numerals to only numerals they kept reporting my old number along with the new number to equifax making it seem as though I had two open accounts. The kicker is once I got this resolved and they "closed" the first account they put it as a paid repossession in the remarks area although the account showed no late payments. I suggest everybody check their reports as I doubt I'm the only one this happened to. I'd be curious to know if anybody else has the same problem.
