Unfortunately, I have too many cars and not enough space so it is time to sell my longest owned classic car. It is a Southwestern 1956 Ford Thunderbird that I have owned for 16 years. I have restored it to a driver quality condition vehicle and have enjoyed driving and showing it in the last 10 years. Here is a list of some of the highlights of the car:
Southwestern car originally (Los Angeles), No rust anywhere on the frame, floor pans, sheet metal and still has the original fresh air vents in front fenders, original undercoating on the floor pans, power brakes but no power steering, 312 engine, and an automatic, power seat, Gauges all work but tachometer is inaccurate, Paint is in very good shape (painted 12 years ago) with some paint chips in a couple of places. Very good interior with some pitting on the adjustable steering column. The car looks great and very presentable as a driver. It has a matching white portholed fiberglass top in very good condition and also a black tonneau cover. The car has good brakes and a great transmission and the engine runs very well. Tires are quite new and are radial-ply with optional wire hubcaps. The car is ready to drive as it sits and is a great cruiser and always receives many great compliments.. I have over 16 pages of receipts for parts/records and a current title in my name. Very hard to find these cars in original frame/sheet metal condition as this one is. I do have an engine running walk around video available. Thanks for looking.
