Our local Early Ford V8 club is sponsoring a Car Show on 4-23-06 at the Fitchburg Airport, in Fitchburg, MA. We generally get 500+ Classic, Antique, Hot Rods etc. to show up.
For the past 4 years I've had 12-14 New Birds show up. We generally stay at a Sheraton, the night before, just above the airport, and will caravan in on the 23rd at 9AM.
I have people with New Birds, coming from Canada to NY for this show. Listed below are the particulars if you want to join us:
For anyone who wants to reserve hotel space, Saturday 4-22-06, for the April 23rd, Fitchburg Car Show. I have arranged a block of 15 rooms at a rate of $95.00 per day.
Check in on 4-22-06 at 4:00 PM and check out by noon 4-23-06.
The following is what you should do:
O Call the Four Points Sheraton, Leominster hotel at 978-534-9000 (sorry no 800#)
O Ask for Reservations
O When reserving reference our group, “New Thunderbirds room block” to get $95.00 rate
O You will be given a confirmation number
O Each person will be responsible for their own room charges
I registered today and look forward to seeing some new faces on the 22nd.
If you plan on coming, please post below after you register at the hotel.
If you plan to drive in and not stay over, meet us in the parking lot in the AM and drive in with us.
BTW, we'll have dinner the night before if you want to join us and possibly a lunch before you all get on the road to home on Sunday.
