First Oil Change-I have a question!!

Yesterday, I made my first visit to Ford dealership for my yellow T-Bird. I had 3,300 miles, so asked for oil change, tire rotation and "Ford recalls" checks. I requested synthetic oil, and last night after returning home I noticed on the invoice that the dealership had installed 10w30 synthetic. Is there a problem with this? I live in Baton Rouge, LA. I did not specify the oil, but assumed they would follow TBird recommendations.

Tbird calls for 5W30!!!!!!

Actually, the manual calls for SAE 5w20. However, do I have a problem with dealer putting 10w30 synthetic in first oil change? Thanks, Phil

I would take it back and have them change it to 5w20. Long time back we had someone from the 3.9 engine plant say it was important to stick with the 5w20.
