In 1957 my father was a Lincoln Mercury Dealer (Town-Hill Motors) on Germantown Ave. in Philadelphia PA. I was a student at the University of Miami in Coral Gables FL. He ordered a new Black Thunderbird from the factory with a 3 speed manual and overdrive, a hardtop with no portholes and no fender skirts. I wonder if there might be some way to track this car after 62 years.

Not very likely without the VIN number. Who knows, it could have been wrecked or crushed and not even exist now.

Do what I did. I bought a new one in 1963, then restored one like it in 2000. Love them both.
