Drove the new Bird to the coast today. Took the Beeline Expressway.

First time I had a chance to run it on the open road.

Well.....runs down the road very stable and solid feeling. Steering is tight and very responsive. On the long curved on ramps it hold a line good with very little lean.

Now the only thing that I'm a little dissapointed with is the power. I read and heard that they could use more power. Yep, they're right.
Floored it at 75mph to feel what it had. It pulls OK to 100mph but was a little weak. My Mark VIII, that I traded for the Bird could run and hide from the bird. Both cars have the same 280 HP, but the Bird weighs about 200 lbs more. Don't get me wrong, it moves out OK, but even my wife can feel the difference in power.

Anyway....love the car and can live with the power issue.

Just my $.02
