Driver's Side windshield frame

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or not...

Whenever I wash the car I snag on the chrome windshield frame on the driver side of the front window. I've tried to push down on it so that it becomes more flush with the rest of the chrome to no avail. I've also noticed that the rubber that surrounds the edge has a slight tear in it. Guess I'll have to take it to the dealer to have it replaced along with the roof clips whenever I get around to it.

T02 Bird, I do have the same problem with the rubber strip on that side of the windshield. It is NOT a tear but a seam in the rubber. Right now I'm not sure just what to do with it except to live with it. It doesn't leak just doesn't look all that great.
