Hello, I am fairly new to the group and really enjoy learning all this group has to offer along with my new (to me) 2002 Whisper White. My current question is why do I have Whisper White accent interior in my Whisper White 2002? From what I have been able to find so far is that interior was first available in the 2003 model. The original sticker says black accent interior. The sticker on the door says built 10/02. I have read here that the 2002 ran four months longer due to the 2003 not being ready, does that have anything to do with this? I appreciate any thoughts or answers.
Thanks,
John

Photos would help.

Attached are some pictures. I will inspect the seats more closely, as there are no switches for heated seats visible.
Thanks,
John

Your seat heater controls would be at the base of the center stack just in front of the gear shift. As far as I can tell, you have none. This would place the car in the 2002 model year and you have a 2002 VIN. Your interior trim code is AW which should be Midnight Black in 2002, so it's pretty strange. There are hints about of some other anomalous interiors. Since your car appears to be on the cusp of the model year, perhaps the partial interiors were distributed to the line and some crew installed one in one of the last 2002's?

If they are 2003 seats, they should have heating elements even if they aren't connected.
