Car Duster Revisited

I know the topic of car dusters has been
discussed before, but I am not able to find
it. I would like to purchase a car duster,
but I'm not sure which is the best. If I
remember correctly, one type was causing
swirl marks on the car. If anyone has any
suggestions, I really would appreciate any
information.

AutoZone carries the California Duster. They also have the DashDusters. Both are very handy and very good products. I ordered a similar product from the Thunderbird Collection with the T-Bird logo on the case, but all it is is the Cal. Duster, same as AutoZone's without the logo.

You may want to try a Kosak Cloth. They have been around for over 70 years. I have used them on all of my Antique cars and on a black Benz. They are a very soft cloth and work great for removing dust. Unlike the car dusters that I have seen, they contain no wax. Look at http://www.kosak.com

Thanks DavidA and CBIRD for your replies.
That's one of the great things about this
forum. There's always someone out there
who can help. I tried to look at the web
site for the Kosak Cloth, but it did not
take me to the web site. Maybe the address
is not correct, or a problem with the site.
If you can check it, let me know.

Fortunately, you do not have to just deal with DavidA.

There are a few grey marketers who have a few quality susters in-stock at all times.

It's worth a little bit of extra trouble to get a good suster.

I don't whats wrong with the Kosak Web Site. I can't get it either. Try searching for auto dry wash. This is how I found the Kosak site and you can access it from there.

GOBIRD:

Didn't mean to infer anything about anyone other than Captjim!

Actually, there was a note of seriousness there. The part about appreciation. I didn't want to act too stupid asking what the heck is everyone talking about!

In the future everyone please be advised that I really love this site and am not about to deliberately post anything that will offend any of my new TBIRD pals!
