WE are new posters, with a new T-Bird,although we are no longer Boys or Girls for that matter, nor are we big,but we will be using the name bigboy (Don't ask!)
We are a canadian couple who bought the bird for many of the reasons posted here.
However one disapointing canadian difference is that we got cheezy plastic moulding where the fog lights are standard on US birds. this obliged us to buy an upgrade package to get a type of light installed! Our question, then is focused on Canadian owners to ask what other differences they may be finding as they enjoy the automobile. We also never knew about the metal name placqe or the top scratching until we tuned on to this site so we are learning here and apreciate it.
thanks
Bigboy

The Canadian Government had a problem with the lower lights not passing some sort of crash test, so they made them a hassle in Canada. Get the xpel kit for the "rear catch panel" aka a sail panel. If you have problems with your bird take it back to the factory if you are close to Detroit as most dealers dont have a clue on how to fix these cars. Refer to the "Quality trip to Wixom thread"..Welcome and you will love your birs with its quirks. All convertibles have them...
