Hello
Did anyone put aluminum aftermarket cylinder heads on a 390? Did it help any which way?

Edelbrock Performer RPM's. Was part of a major top of engine upgrade that included a Holley Avenger 770 atop a gorgeous Endurashine Performer RPM matching manifold and flat tappet 7106 cam. I can tell you the whole deal made a huge impact, but not sure what % of that were the heads. BE CAREFUL if you do this; I CAN tell you the 390 has an interesting design for how the manifold sits half on the block and half on the heads, and the header seam needs to be machined perfectly to fit.
For me, the next step are Sanderson headers; my problem is I can't find a muffler shop that has a good plan for handing off it's 3" collector, but I'm still searching.

Hey DannyInNJ, hopefully your brakes are beefed up to match your power aspirations🙂
