Hi folks. My '65 has a hissing sound coming from under the dash when it is in gear (reverse or drive). It stops when the car is in park or neutral. Almost sounds like a heavy vacuum leak. Any suggestions on what it might be?

Thanks in advance.

My thoughts exactly! Vacuum line at the neutral safety switch. It's fun to reach, it's on top of the steering column.
