I replaced my distributor with an MSD electronic unit including using the vacuum advance from the base of the TPot. It is time to replace the wires and plugs. I replaced the wires once before and what PIA to deal with attaching them to the block where they are near the exhaust. I cannot get my fingers in there. Do I have to remove the exhaust manifold?

Regarding plugs, now that I have the electronic ignition, should the type of plug or gap be changed? As part of the tune up, has anyone found that the timing needs to be adjusted to compensate for todays wonderful gas.

I hope you all are taking the time to take your TBirds out and enjoy.
