Hello, New member here and Im in a picnh... Hope to be a contibuting members from here on out.

My father passed away late last year and I have arrived in Florida to trailer the 50th Cashmere TBird back home. Was able to start the car but I have no throttle response. Its running really bad but did start. When I popped the hood there was a huge mise nest right in the middle. andd it looks like a few connections near the throttle body have been damaged.

Issues describing the picture attached,
1. One of the vacumn lines is broke ( I can hear it sucking air)
2. One cable is completely eaten through right after the clip. I cant tell where this would go.
3. Another cable just off the main harness has been eaten through. I may be able to beirfly repair that by splicing and taping till I get it home .

I just want to get the throttle working to get it on the trailer until I get home, If not I'll have to winch it but wanted to see if there was some good quick advice to get it rolling.

Think about this, this is what is clearly visible presumably rodent damage. What about the damage you cannot see elsewhere? This could turn into a real issue overall.

Thanks for the info @JoseG. I was able to splice a wires from the blue cable going to the throttle body connector and have some response now. I think I can get it on the trailer. As far as unseen damage, yeah, if my dad was still here I’d give him a talking to. They paid cash for this car brand new and it’s a hot mess. Interior is shot beyond belief. But, he loved the car, didn’t take care of it but loved it. I’ll get it back to where it needs to be. Always wanted to rebuild an engine for fun anyway.
