Had anyone removed a 2005 ignition switch, and if so, how?

You need a service manual if you are going to work on your own car. They are not expensive.

I agree with biddle that you need to purchase a service manual, but in the mean time here are the removal instructions.

I see one on Amazon for $123. Is that what you are referring to. I doenloaded thd Owners manual, but that's no help.
