Last night, the blower motor cover just disintegrated into smithereens, all over my wife's feet. So far, no luck finding one. Does anyone know if it is OK to operate without it? Here, on the East Coast of Florida, we need all the A/C efficiency we can get.

Your title "2005 A/C fan motor cover XW4Z-18515-AA" has been updated to summarize specifically what your question is.

This thread is being locked. Ideally, no fan should be operated without the cover on it. You are an adult and can decide how to proceed.
