I was checking out thew hardtop for the Tbird I am interested in purchasing. The foam on the inside (on the right in the picture) is dried out. In fact when I looked at it closely, there are actually 3 layers of different density foam. Is this still available from Ford? Elsewhere? tbird hardtop foam.jpg

I am sure you can find it, you will just have to find a local business that carries
these products. I needed some foam years ago, found a local business that carried
so many versions, I had a difficult time picking what I needed. To many choices.

Please include the model year of the car in the subject on future posts. I've added this for you.

The HT was not made by Ford. It was contracted out to a vendor who went bankrupt during the 2004- early 2005. I seriously doubt you'll find any parts to the HT short of purchasing a damaged one to salvage parts from it.
That said I certainly would not let the HT quality keep me from purchase of the Bird if everything is good with the rest of the car. And you are pleased with it.
After-all will you be using the HT that often to have it be the deal breaker.

If you REALLY must, a trim shop would have foam but I don't even see an issue. That foam is not visible with the top on. Save your money.
