I love T-Bird with lights on all the time but the auto sensor will turn them on only after dark so I have added electrical tape on the half of the daylight sensor and this way you can still see the blinking alarm LED. In all of our cars we have daylight running lights for safety.
Now when I start the all the lights kick in and stay until engine shut off. We don't have to think about turning them on manually during the day and the car looks great with the lights on (better than just front daylights sold to Canada) plus makes it safer since it is such a low car.
I believe we have avoided several accidents thanks to lights on, since cars tend to disappear on busy roads with lot of sun and shadow backgrounds
It is a quick and cheap fix and tricky place to attach the tape but is possible with one hand and you can't see the imperfections from a distance.
Great part of is is that you can remove it in a second if needed.
