2003 T-bird red with red/black interior

I just purchased a 2003 Thunderbird. I am very happy so far and have so many questions to ask, but the first one I have is regarding the soft top. I am keeping the car garaged but wanted to know if it is better to keep the top up or down when I am not using it? Does it matter? Is one better than the other? Thanks!

I put the top up if it will be in the garage for a while. But if I plan on driving it again in the next few days, I don't hesitate to leave it down.

If you wan the car, make sure it is completely dry before leaving it down.
