2003 Delay?

Blue Oval News is reporting that the2003 Lincoln LS is being delayed until Nov 15, 2002 due to a problem with electronic control module software. Since this is the same engine that is in the Bird will we ( with orders pending for 2003) also be faced with a delay? I gave up my order for #7 of my dealers 8 2002's to be #1 for 2003.
